Another "Great" ESPN Commentator

Skip Bayless of ESPN's Cold Pizza did his daily debate with Woody Page and today had no praise for the Yanks efforts, belitted the Captain's 2 out hit on Sunday and moaned that Manny was out with a hamstring problem. Also last year he said the Red Sox would repeat as champs. Another ESPN person to boycott.

Boycotting him is no problem, i hated that smug SOB before his latest comments. He knows nothing (but not many people at ESPN know much, anyway).

Skip Bayless is ridiculous. I don't understand how the man has a job.

I actually "get" why ESPN hires biased jerks like Bill Simmons - Simmons and his ilk have some style, they have some sports knowledge, but they're just slanted.

Bayless has absolutely nothing going for him.

I don't watch Cold Pizza, its a terrible show, and Bayliss is a joke- he knows nothing and just says things to be funny and ridiculous.

I think it is a very bad move by ESPN to have their supposed sports reporters/commentators trying to be Howard Stern...

Bayless is a complete tool, but with the Red Sox playing as poorly as they are and their chances for the playoffs looking pretty slim, the ESPN baseball crew might snap out of fantasy land and start giving some more realistic analysis. Its doubtful, but still a possibility.

When Bayliss covers a girls ass in mayo and uses it as a target for bologna, let me know.

Bayless was boycottable long before these comments.

I said about him a long time ago that you know you're an idiot when you make Woody Paige look like the voice of reason. Skip Brainless.

And I agree with some other posters, Cold Penis is a horrible show, looks like it was put together by a bunch of high school kids in media lab.

The whole format for the Bayliss and Paige segment is stupid. It is just screaming face television. You are supposed to be entertained because the two guys are arguing. The fact that they have nothing to say is meant to be irrelevant.

Bayliss makes Paige look like a sports genius. Bayliss has less sports knowledge and Joe on the corner and yet he is all over ESPN. I have hated this guy for a LONG time and I can't wait for him to be gone.

After the brawl game in 04' he claimed on PTI(he was filling in) that Mo's career was over and the Yankees would lose the division.

Skip Bayless is... well, Skip Bayless. That's the only accurate word to describe him.

He's a fool. If not for that hit we couldn't have gone on to win. Bayless is so senile.

Re: Another "Great" ESPN Commentator

Id like to add another idiotic Bayless comment (its almost like an adjective that means stupid = Bayless)

Discussing the Abreu acquisition.

Nameless middle guy in between Bayless and Paige: Who will win the AL East?

Bayless: The Red Sox. The Yankees dont have enough frontline pitching to win.

Yet Mussina/Wang > Schilling/Beckett in pure stats at the time.

Another bayless idiot making a bayless comment. That's Bayless for ya.

At least they (Wilbon and Kornheiser at PTI) are funny, knowledgable, LOGICAL, and have great chemistry. The first and ten show or whatever its called is ridiculous, its like the only sports show I can't stand to watch. Its boring and it dumbs you down. They literally argue for the sake of arguing, if there is a very obvious point, the other guy still argues and looks like a bafoon. PTI they agree sometimes, you get the sense they are giving actual opinions. Bayless and Paige just seem to argue without any substance and you feel dumber and regret wasting 30 precious minutes of your life when its over.
