The START Enrique Wilson Petition

I've been too hard on Wilson lately. I say keep him around as a good luck charm, kinda like Luis Sojo. Enrique is a great clubhouse guy, and the difference between him and Cairo isn't that great. I have a little more confidence in Enrique getting a hit this year than last year.

*Start him

That said, who's with me?

How many people are voting for him to play 2nd in the All Star Game?

My over/under on Enrique votes is 100,000

I'll put Enrique on my ballot. Its not like I was voting Mark Bellhorn in there

I'm on the fence but at season's start, I was in favor of Cairo.

Still leaning his way. But I don't get wicked crazy when I see Wilson in the line-up.
I accept it. Not much else I can do.
Bashing and booing Wilson isn't going to help. I hope both are effective when given the chance.

Did youse know that Cairo played 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ss, lf and rf for the Cards last year?
The Yanks are as close to Clay Bellinger as they have been in years.

We haven't won a world series since he arrived.

Sorry Doug. He's a miserable ball player and useless on this team.

I would rather that the Yankees sign Aaron Boone to a lifetime contract.

Does Torre know this? Then he could of pinch hit Sierra for Clark in the 8th and put Cairo at 1st against the A's. Besides 2nd base is the least of the Yankees problems. The Yankees need pitching and lots of it

I've heard rumors that there are other teams in the league besides NY and Boston.
I'm not sure, but they could have 2B men too.

I'm not if favor of Wilson over Cairo, but I've watched them and both are shakey on offense and defense. Starting Cairo over Wilson will add nothing to this team. If Bush can't come through, we'll need a replacement.

remember this guy named Soriano. He may merit selection. Young is playing SS.

There are other teams in the league? Really? I must living in a different world.

Even with the Extra Innings package, I seemed to be glued to NESN and the Red Sox games. The Tigers and Rangers arent getting their due respect, or lack thereof, from me.

Outside of Soriano, there isnt anyone that I could really consider. I dont think he's played All-Star caliber to date either.

Enrique should start... for Columbus.

(no offense to Columbus' starting secondbaseman intended)

I don't think the difference between him and Cairo is that great for us to slaughter him with the criticism he's been getting, that's all. I think instead of bashing Wilson, we should bash the one who decides to play him every night
