New Yankes WS books coming out

The Yankees’ publications department, which produced two tremendous books on the old Yankee Stadium last year, is back at it again just in time for the holidays.
“Twenty-Seven: The Official Yankees World Series Championship Commemorative,” a hardcover book, and “Yankees Magazine — World Series Commemorative,” a softcover book, will be on sale beginning on Friday. They are the only officially licensed publications about the Yankees’ 2009 World Series championship team.

The books provide a breakdown of the Yankees’ title run with more than 75 never-before-seen photographs and an introduction by manager Joe Girardi. Features include a regular season review, postseason game stories and exclusive essays written by some of New York’s most renowned writers. Looking for the perfect holiday gift for that Yankees fan in your life? Look no farther.

I am assuming the subscribers of Yankees Magazine will get the WS edition, as we are still waiting for the October edition. They did this in the past.

I was also hoping that the Yankees would publish an official book on the construction of NYS. I have one from Miller Field and it is great.

You could probably construct a library out of just the Yankees' 2008 and 2009 seasons. Old Stadium, new Stadium, Bob Sheppard, Jeter, A-Rod, the 3 new guys, #27.....

The books weren't even out today - very annoying. Either the customer service gal had no clue what she was doing, or the books were delayed. They didn't even have one of them in their system.

ugh, I ordered the Final Season from the Publications site and it took forever to process the order so I'm not surprised there

The one titled Twenty Seven is now coming out December 1, but the other one I'm not sure about..........I may have to order it like you did.

I'm not a fan of the Newsday and NY Post books (haven't seen the Daily News one) as all they are are compliations of older articles.
