A Question About Old Timer's Day

Hey everybody! I'm going to the game tomorrow and was just wondering if anybody knows what time the festivities begin. I've heard 1, 1:30 and even 2:00 so if anyone knows for sure let me know. Thanks.

With the rain and everything last year against the Marlins, it was such a huge disappointment. I remember spending almost the entire Saturday afternoon in the rain. I am really looking forward to tomorrow's game!

I was at the game tonight and asked what time the gates open for OTD and they said 12:30

Re: A Question About Old Timer's Day

How long should Monument Park be open until tomorrow? An hour before the OT game or the regular game?

Re: A Question About Old Timer's Day

I have a question. When was the last time the starting pitcher for the main game was older than some of the "old timers"?

I just hope our Old Timer pitches better than the other Old Timer.

Unless Phil Niekro was the starting pitcher for the Yankees on OTD 1985.

The introductions start at 1:50 but usually some of the Old Timers take batting practice when the gates open.

Re: A Question About Old Timer's Day

To clarify, which game is Clemens starting in? The OTD game or the regular game?

Re: A Question About Old Timer's Day

I just looked this up. 46 year old Phil Niekro WAS the starting pitcher for the Yankees on Old Timers Day 1985.

Like Paulie said, he's pitching the double header.
