Player Reaching Base In Five Consecutive Innings
Out of the first 46 Colorado hitters tonight against the Mets, 18 got out, 18 got hits, and 10 walked. Garrett Atkins had a hit or walk in the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth innings and just flied out to end the seventh missing out on a chance to reach base in six consecutive innings. Does anybody know when the last time before Atkins a player reached base in five consecutive innings was?
Colorado leads 17-6. |

Re: Player Reaching Base In Five Consecutive Innings
I don't understand your post.
With the 17-7 win, Colorado became the first team to sweep the Yankees and Mets in the same season with at least three games played against each team. |
