Yankees game show on YES???

Do you think YES should have a game show that is related to the Yankees. Here's my pitch.

Title: Ultimate Yankee Fan

Host: Paul O'Neill
Announcer: Either John Sterling or Suzyn Waldman

3 Yankee fans battle it out for cash and prizes.

Round 1: (Jeopardy like round) 5 yankee categories and 5 questions (100 points to 500)

Round 2: Still 3 contestants, interviews from contestants. Physical challenges (various), win challenge, you get 300 points. Lowest score is eliminated and gets "Lovely parting gifts)

Round 3: 2 fans remain, betting on # of questions 1-5. (range from 200-1000 points) Winner recieves prizes, losers gets "lovely parting gifts"

BONUS ROUND: 10 yankees questions correct in 90 seconds wins $5000 and 2 yankee tickets. If you win, you get an option to bet the money and tickets for $10,000 and 2 luxury suites tickets.

lol, I read the words "physical challenge" after a jeopardy like round and I immediately thought Double Dare.
Maybe Marc Summers wants to take a break from the Food Network shows and can give Paul some tips.

hmm... a baseball-yankee-based version of SASUKE? i'd watch that, although it would likely end up being more like a mix of pros vs. joes and mxc

oh, i do enjoy watching MXC, but I wish they'd do real accurate translations of what was being said, rather than dubbing it with stupid random nonsense commentary.

that said, i'd love to see any gameshow on yes that's even somewhat entertaining, the prize doesn't even have to be something like cash, maybe like even a premium booth for a game for you and a bunch of friends, or yankees merchandise.

SASUKE isn't the MXC at all. It's actually pretty crazy. It's a four stage obstacle course that only two people (of thousands) have ever completed. Check out the video, pretty impressive.

i know , i was just saying how if they tried bringing something like that here for a game show, it'd end up being more silly than serious, like MXC compared to sasuke or viking. I do occasionally try to watch sasuke/ninja warrior whenever it's on G4.

edit: for example, I don't think you'd see as many people here training rigorously just to pass certain challenges of a game show, even constructing real, accurate representations of the set. (How do these people get the money/time to do that anyway?)

The random translations are the best part... in my opinion... but I digress...

Susan Waldmyn as an announcer... its bad enough I have to hear that voice during games.

I think it would be better with the same format as that short lived William Shatner show where John Sterling would host and do the weird Shatner dances and there would be girls holding the questions dressed in extra small Alyssa Milano Yankee clothes. And the final round would have to be test your knowledge against former Yankee players, sort of like having to face Ben Stein in Win Ben Stein's Money. The winner would get a season ticket package and a custom NYY home entertainment center for the ultimate Yankee viewing experience and in september, the top past winners would come back to compete for front row seats to Yankee Stadium playoff games.
