Do you know what morale is? For pessimist, things for our beloved Yanks look bleak. For an optimist, inspirational words mean alot . At least this dude who posted this has the right attitude and this was his/her way of expressing it. I guess that is what the point is. You are being too much of a literalist.

Yes.. I broke a few remotes and had to repair a door over the last few years, I can't emotionally invest in a team that doesn't invest emotionally on the field.
They were playing a game with all the intensity of early April. If they don't care, why should we wear the lucky underwear, our favorite hat, sit in the lucky chair and neglect families to watch them play? It's disheartening when the team looks less invested in a victory than the fans do.. I would have been thrilled if the team looked like they tried and has some fire.. ARod getting tossed for arguing that BS call at 3rd.. Joe getting tossed for arguing Kenny Rogers' extra comfortable strike zone.. Someone showing some emotion at all. I would be satisfied as a fan because they went down fighting.
