    Team Hero: Chien-Mien Wang, with 7 innings of 6 hit ball, only 1 ER in the first. After he settled down, he was great.

    Aaron Guiel, who had 2 RBI, 2 hits, a homer, and a stolen base.

    Honorable Mention: Cano, who is the team leader in BA (PA notwithstanding) with 2 hits on the day, including a solo home run to tie the game early (also the team's first hit, I believe).

    Mariano Rivera - more of a welcome back, MO! pick, but he did have 3 Ks to get his 34th save of the year .
    Studying for the USMLE Step 2 Exam, but still cheering hard for the Yankees.

    Good game ... Fast game! I went out to dinner thinking I'd miss the first few innings ... when I got back it was the top of the seventh, and Guiel was just about to homer. My house guest is now happily watching Numbers instead of suffering through the last innings of some ol' baseball game ...

    (But I'm taking over the TV to watch Yankees Encore and catch up with the parts I missed. )
