    Playoff tiebreaker question

    We all know that the Yankees won the season series vs. Detroit, so if they finish with the same record and meet in the ALCS (assuming Det wins the Central), the Yankees will have HFA.

    What happens if the Twins win the Central and finish with the same record as the Yankees. We split the season series 3-3. How is HFA determined? League record? Division record? Coin flip?
