The "TV shows that don't warrant their own thread" thread

One for the movies and now one for TV shows

Anyone watch "Psych", the new show on USA? I like it quite a bit. It's pretty funny.

    Also, anyone watch Hell's Kitchen?

None of those, but I must admit that I like watching Dirty Jobs on the Discovery Channel.

I watched a bit of Hell's Kitchen last night. Has anyone punched the guy in the face?

    I've watched both seasons.

I think Keith was 100% spot on. I think Gordon does have a thing for Virginia. There is no way that he put her through based on her talent as a chef. She's been horrible for weeks, Keith has one bad week and he's out? And this is coming from someone who thinks Keith is a cocky A-hole. Plus, notice how Virgnia always wins the contests that include spending some time with him?

The Office, the funniest show on TV.

Yeah, that was funny though. There's no way Virginia is winning. Heather's MUCH better than her.

I've been watching the show and I agree with you 100% percent.

Also did you notice how Gordon didn't deny it? He just asked why Keith had to be so rude. That might mean nothing but I thought that was somewhat interesting.

I think it's the first of these reality shows that I don't want to see anyone win cause they all get on my nerves....but that's the fun of it.

Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that those two were dataing post-show. She seems to have a thing for him too based on some of the comments she has made throughout the season.

Is it a rule that all chefs must be assholes too? You're right. I never want any of them to win. Although for some reason I was pulling for the guy who came in 2nd last season. I was actually pulling for Heather when this show first started but she's just as obnoxious as the rest of them.

Yes...the giddy happy clapping celebrations when she gets praise from Gordon and the overdramatic sobbing that she does when she fails got old right around the 3rd week.

I've been watching Dead Like Me on DVD. I seriously don't get why it was cancelled because it's excellent.

    Why was it canceled?
    1. It was smart
    2. It was smart.
    3. It was smart.
    4. It was the victim of office politics. Showtime changed presidents and the new guy wanted to make his mark so he canceled the previous president's shows. Plus, Sony took over MGM (the production company). It was easiest for all the business people if they killed the show.

(Can you tell I'm bitter? I loved that show!)

I also watch "Psych" and "Dirty Jobs" (previously mentioned shows)

    Agreed.

Anyone watch "The Closer" or "Eureka"? I'm enjoying both. I also liked "Three Moons Over Milford" but it's just had one episode so too soon to form an opinion.

Really? Actually, I remember someone started one about the Christmas episode. But we should just start one for Season 3 like there is for 24 and Lost.
