Re: The "TV shows that don't warrant their own thread" thread
You have a lot of catching up to do!! There were 8 seasons, so you missed pretty much all of it. You won't know what's going on if you just watch the finale, so if you can, I suggest renting the seasons. IMO, it was a great show. Lots of twists over the years. I am personally sad to see it go.

I kept hearing of all the feuding, cheating, dying off of characters, then some lawsuit where Nicollette Sheridan complained about being fired from the series.
When I have some free time, I may do this. Otherwise, I was just being rhetorical.

Re: The "TV shows that don't warrant their own thread" thread
I agree -- I love Psych. Well, I don't agree that the middle seasons were bad. They were silly and I loved that about them! This last season was great too. It's one of the few shows where I actually laugh at the opening credits. Shawn and Gus in the vampire costumes cracks me up every time I see that in the opening. In one of the episodes, someone called Carlton "Flat Stanley" and I nearly peed myself.
Sounds interesting. I am definitely going to have to check that out. I'm a big Sherlock Holmes fan. Thanks!2012 - The Year of the Big Boys

Re: The "TV shows that don't warrant their own thread" thread
I've been working my way through 30 Rock on Netflix. I don't know if I've ever seen a show that's good so frequently and consistently while being great so infrequently, if that makes any sense. It's an addicting show and is very, very solid almost every episode, but it's a very rare occasion that I find myself actually laughing out loud at something. It's like it's constantly at the level where I'm just about to laugh out loud, but almost never actually gets there. It's a very enjoyable show, though, with some very fun and likable characters.

Oh wow there were 3. Only saw the first, the video game one which was HILARIOUS.
Also, finished watching Sherlock. That show is great! Cumberbatch is incredible as Sherlock and I've always liked Martin Freeman in everything I've seen him in, and he does a very good job as Watson. Definitely my favorite adaptation of Sherlock Holmes.I wish we could haz a Matt Harvey.

Re: The "TV shows that don't warrant their own thread" thread
I totally disagree with both assessments. 30 Rock makes me laugh out loud all the time. Especially Jack and Tracy. I think it is a fantastic show.
And Tina is not the weakest link IMO. I don't think there is a weakest link, per se, but I think that Jenna is my least favorite and even then she sometimes has some funny story lines. I love Tina Fey and think her comic timing is right on. She is somewhat of the "straight man" in the wackiness of the show but she still has some great comedic moments.2012 - The Year of the Big Boys

I'm really looking forward to seeing "Hatfields & McCoys" on The History Channel. 3 day mini-series starts on Memorial Day. It looks really good.

Series finale of House tonight. I've loved that show, but it's so time for it to end.
I don't even know if they'll have a case to solve in this episode - other than Wilson - but if they do, I hope it turns out to be lupus. That would be a good ending.A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines.- Barry Manilow
