Re: Another team's prospects thread

How do Erlin and Weiland compare to Kelly, Rizzo and the other guy the Padres got for Gonzalez?

http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/n...vkey=news_milbPirates prospect Gerrit Cole, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 Draft, gave up three runs on three hits over 2 1/3 innings in his professional debut for Mesa. He walked one and struck out two, reaching 100 mph with his fastballDon't tease me, you know what I do for a living.

Really good news:
http://www.weei.com/sports/boston/th...and-play-gamesRed Sox minor leaguer Ryan Westmoreland will face live pitching in games in the Dominican Instructional League later this week. It will be the first time that Westmoreland, 21, has played in a game since undergoing surgery to remove a cavernous malformation in his brain stem on March 16, 2010.
