The Celtics of the Bill Russell era and the UCLA teams of the John Wooden era surpassed that by far.

You asked if anyone knew of any other teams.Maybe you should try and be more clear.The way you say this it sounds as if you're implying the Islanders are the only team ever to do this.

By the way if you WERE making a list then why would you leave out the Montreal Canadiens,and especially the Yankees?Maybe you forgot.

I thought of the Celtics and UCLA off the top of my head because they have won 7 or more in a row.The Yankees never did that.
