Josh Hamilton out 8+ weeks after injuring his shoulder sliding into home plate.
I'm sure he'll find a way to pass the time.

I heard on the way home that he'll pick up a bat in 4 weeks even though he's not scheduled to come back for 8 weeks...
Valentine was talking about how he can't take pain killers because of his past issues -- not sure if he realized at the time the bone is broken...

I think he broke his arm throwing his third base coach under the bus."It was just a stupid play," Hamilton said after the game. "I definitely shouldn't have done it."
Hamilton added: "I listened to my third base coach. That's a little too aggressive. The whole time I was watching the play I was listening. [He said], 'Nobody's at home, nobody's at home.' I was like, 'Dude, I don't want to do this. Something's going to happen.' But I listened to my coach. And how do you avoid a tag the best, by going in headfirst and get out of the way and get in there. That's what I did."27 World Championships

The 3B coach told you to go. You decided to slide in a way that hurt yourself. Man up.

Yeah, throwing a teammate under the bus like that is stupid. What benefit does he or the team get out of trying to blame it on the coach? It was an aggressive play, and he got hurt. Sh*t happens man. Jeebus.

Not surprising seeing a drug addict not accepting responsibility for his own actions. I understand he's not on the stuff now, but his addiction will always be a problem for him.
