What was the worst Batman?
I can find reasons for each of them to be the worst. Who do you think wins this contest?

Actually I thought out of the 3, he was the least annoying.

I see things differently now. I've watched Batman Begins a hundred times since I bought the dvd. I've watched the others since and I just cannot stand any of the Batmans. And I used to really like the 1st and 3rd one.NYYFans Fantasy Baseball

Re: What was the worst Batman?
Everyone ranted how Keaton was going to be horrible when cast, I remember.
He was the best of the above lot, IMO.

Re: What was the worst Batman?
I have a personal dislike of Val Kilmer, so I would vote for him, but that wouldn't be fair, because he may have been a very good Batman for all I know.
Michael Keaton was my favorite (Besides Adam West of course!
)
So, maybe it would be Clooney as the worst (even though I love George!)You know you're an addict when you put Crackbook on your Crackberry. -Toaderly

Re: What was the worst Batman?
George Clooney. Its not even close. That movie is one of the worst movies ever made. EVER.
Michael Keaton made a decent Batman but he looked more like the Joker than Batman imo. Val Kilmer came off as a jerk and was pretty bad as Batman himself but George Clooney took Batman to a whole new level of suckyness.

Re: What was the worst Batman?
I may just be tired but does this post mean that you like Christian Bale and 'Batman Begins'?

Re: What was the worst Batman?
I agree 100% with Sam, Clooney was an awful awful batman, in the worst batman movie. that movie was just god awful. Keaton wasn't too bad, he always had an incredible supporting cast around him to pick him up

Dammit! I still haven't seen the damn thing. I'm glad it was dark though. Those Batmans that looked like a freakin' techno-club/Carnival were an embarassment.

Re: What was the worst Batman?
Val Kilmer was horrible in Batman Returns. His delivery was so dry. No emotion. But he's still 100 times better then Clooney.

Next time you rent a movie, make sure it's Batman Begins. In fact, just buy the damn thing. You'll want to anyway.

Re: What was the worst Batman?
"Begins" was definitely a cut above the previous 2 movies, however both villains felt a bit rushed...

We'll see when Superman comes out, but as it stands now, you are correct.

Re: What was the worst Batman?
In order:
Bale
Keaton
Clooney
Kilmer
The Clooney movie was the worst, but he was better as Batman than Kilmer (in my opinion, of course).I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

Re: What was the worst Batman?
I just can't see Superman being as good as Batman Begins. I'm going in bias though because I think Superman is the most over-rated character. Forget the cheesyness of him not wearing a mask and Kent being a total loser (as opposed to nerdy Peter Parker), but Batman is dark and angry yet Superman is the boyscout good guy. Dark characters are always more entertaining.

Well, I suppose I see what you're saying. maybe if the movie was longer they wouldn't have been rushed. Alot of it was Bruce's history so there wasn't much time for getting to know the villains. I thought Scarecrow was sick though. Perfect casting job on him as well.

Re: What was the worst Batman?
I said Val Kilmer. I didn't care for him or George Clooney as Batman, so it was really a lesser of two evils.
Michael Keaton was the BEST Batman, IMO. He was smokin' with Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns.
