That it is. Let me be the first to say I believe he will do well and will not be hit by any line drives or broken bats.

its spring training. Lets not read too much into runs allowed, etc. Most of these guys are just trying to purposly get their pitch count up.

He looked horrible. I expected a little improvement, but its the same crap. Oh well, at least we have Small.

Re: So Hughes is pitching again in Saturday's game?
Do I need MLB Extra Innings again if I want to see spring training? I really don't feel like watching the Sox on NESN. Or are the Yanks on Fox or something?

MLB Extra Innings isn't available until the reguar season. I think the Yanks are on ESPN once and NESN once.

Re: So Hughes is pitching again in Saturday's game?
How can you expect improvement during his first spring training game? Can a pitcher get some work in and build up some arm strength? Or is everything do or die in Yankeeland, including early spring training?

Quite a few radio stations do broadcasts right from their websites. Just use google to find the station's site if you know what their name is and then check their site.

Re: So Hughes is pitching again in Saturday's game?
RJ is slated to start Sat., followed by Proctor, according to the handy notes from the St. Petersburg Times, & so far they've been right. Jaret Wright pitched vs. the Phillies today. Moose/Hughes will pitch vs. the Blue Jays Sunday, followed by Wang & Small on Monday (note: Small also pitched 2 innings on Opening Day at Legends Field).
GoYanks!
