Question about video iPod.
This is driving me nuts. I just bought a video iPod, and I've been trying to put some of my videos already on my computer on to it. Unfortuanately, I can't even get them on to iTunes. Is it possible, or do you have to purchase the videos through iTunes?

Re: Question about video iPod.
I believe they have to be in MPEG4 format.

Re: Question about video iPod.
You can get songs and vids from limwire.com and then you have to open your itunes window, and then under file open send files to library, from there pick any file you would like to add to your itunes library.

Re: Question about video iPod.
I have a conversion program called Videora Ipod Converter which takes the videos i have and puts them on my Ipod.
Try it out.Saturday MLB on FOX blackouts - If you don't know how to spoof your IP address, you are missing out on the fun.

Re: Question about video iPod.
Provided the video iPod does require MPEG4, you can use the same conversion programs that are used for the PSP. I don't have the video iPod so I can't vouch for this. But I have converted DVD's and TiVo-recorded-programs into PSP-watchable files. A google search and/or perusing www.gamefaqs.com might help.

I place another vote for Videora. Also their TiVo converter rocks.

Re: Question about video iPod.
I don't advise storing anything on the Ipod... i have some scandelous pics of some of my female friends at parties that found their way onto my ipod... autoupdate... and my boss was flippin through and saw. Luckily he's REALLY chill so he laughed about it, but it could've been a little more awkward.

Re: Question about video iPod.
Okay, new but equally stupid question. I'm trying to set up my iPod so that my Veronica episodes come up under TV Shows, but it appears that I have to enter the season and episode number, and I cannot do that through "Get Info" Dies anyone know how to do this?

Re: Question about video iPod.
I just got a video ipod yesterday. If you get videos from itunes, can you watch them on your computer too or only on the ipod? Also, can you burn them to a dvd/svcd?

No, you cannot burn them to a DVD/svcd. At least not legally. I am sure there is a way to get around it though.

I got Videora, but when I put the converted mp4 on my ipod, it doesn't play the video...just has a still frame from the beginning and the audio. What'd I do wrong?

On your iPod, go to Videos, than video settings and switch TV Out to off.

Awesome. Thanks! What is the purpose of that? Also what's that TV Signal NTSC thing?
