Re: What's on the menu this evening?
When I used to take pictures and assisted a commercial photographer, I met a few hand models for some ad campaign. It was a female, and she always wore gloves. She refused to remove the gloves, and told me that she did this for professional reasons. If her hands ever got a scratch or cut, she'd be pretty much screwed royally.
Child modelling is some weird business. At least one parent or guardian has to accompany the child at all times, and you'll need some good business contacts, a good modelling agency, as well as a nice portfolio.
Male models, however, seem to primarily be some accessories for the female models (at least many years ago).
Now then, when is Junior gonna make a big-arsed sammich on the grill? I know. We'll call it:
theDurk, Jr's Big-Arsed Grilled Sammich ... a la Brad
That sounds so cheesy, we should even add cheese.

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
I have been trying a lot of new recipes lately. Last night was a glazed pork and "green rice" recipe. The pork was ok, nothing special, but the rice was yummy. Just long grain rice (my new fave is Jazmati) with chopped scallions, edamame and snow peas mixed in.

Tonight is flank steak rolled up with provolone cheese and baby kale (recipe called for arugula, but we aren't too fond of arugula). You know you're an addict when you put Crackbook on your Crackberry. -Toaderly

Shop Rite has lobster on sale this week...so tonight is going to Lobster, Baked Potato and Corn on the Cob.
Sometimes my greatest accomplishment is just keeping my mouth shut.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I ended up where I need to be.
