What's on the menu this evening?

I need a chuck roast recipe. Anyone? I'm thinking crockpot.

Nothing fancy but I put a pile of veggies in the bottom of the pot, brown the roast and put it on top then add a couple cans french onion soup and a beer. It's good.

Thats similar to mine..except I don't bother browning the meat..but I do season it ALOT with Adobo..

Add the veggies on top, 1 can of french onion soup and 1 can of beef broth.....I'll have to try it with the 'beer' next time..

I make something with veggies, potatoes and a can of tomatoes. No beer though, but wine would work!

I use a crockpot so 8-10 hours on low depending on my schedule.

Vicki, I bought the salmon, shallots and forgot the rest of the veggies, so your delicious meal from last night will have to wait 'til tomorrow.

Tonight I shouldn't have had ANYTHING when I got home after all the great forum party food, but I broke down and had some slices of french baguette, goat cheese, red grapes and wine.

I'll just wing it. I can't believe we have no LEMONS or TOMATOES in the house!

The grilled veggie platter was unbelievable. Check out the picture I posted in the Forum Party thread. Squash, zucchini, red pepper, mushrooms.... and the most delicious dipping sauce ever. (It's Ally's recipe, so hopefully she can post it. She gave me ingredients but I forgot to ask about ratios. Allly, help!)
