Re: What's on the menu this evening?
I make something with veggies, potatoes and a can of tomatoes. No beer though, but wine would work!

Party moved to my house. Don't know how that happened, but I have bread, pretzels, and formula.
If I would?
Could you?

Do you use a crockpot, top of the stove or oven? I have a 3 1/2 pound roast....any idea of cooking time?

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
Vicki, I bought the salmon, shallots and forgot the rest of the veggies, so your delicious meal from last night will have to wait 'til tomorrow.
Tonight I shouldn't have had ANYTHING when I got home after all the great forum party food, but I broke down and had some slices of french baguette, goat cheese, red grapes and wine.

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
Cool...I can post the recipe or you can just wing it like I do and chop the shallots and tomatoes, sprinkle s&p and lemon and stick it in the oven. The recipe is more detailed than my shortcut version.

The french baguette, goat cheese and red grapes sound awesome.

I'll just wing it. I can't believe we have no LEMONS or TOMATOES in the house!

(It's Ally's recipe, so hopefully she can post it. She gave me ingredients but I forgot to ask about ratios. Allly, help!)
