Re: What's on the menu this evening?
Hey Allybear - sometimes ya gotta go to McDoodles! Once in awhile I have to go through the drive in for a happy meal!

We had Dominos the other night.

My daughter loves Dominos, but that's not pizza to me. I'm not a big pizza fan but I'd rather have pizzeria pizza than that stuff. You know you're an addict when you put Crackbook on your Crackberry. -Toaderly

I'm making a pot roast tonight. Hubby bought one for me yesterday. I love pot roast.

I'm having the same thing. I'm really looking forward to it. Pot roast is great.

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
It really is. It's so easy to make too. My friend couldn't figure out why her pot roast always comes out tough. I went over all the steps with her every time the conversation came up. Finally I figured out that she was adding too much water to the pot (covering the whole roast in water). In essence, she was boiling her roast. Not good.

I'm waiting for it to stay cold before I make a pot roast b/c ... well, I don't know why - it just seems like a cold weather meal to me. Although I really want one know b/c you are all talking about it
Enjoy your roasts!

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
My mom used the pressure cooker for pot roast too...I never was scared of it, though. I remember the first time I heard they could explode - I was totally amazed. However, I've still never gotten one!

Yeah, the possibility of exploding always scared me, but I always thought that spinny thing was gonna fly off when it got going.

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
Well, I guess the pot roast will have to wait till tomorrow.
My son has been bugging us to take him to Chuck E. Cheese's for a long time now. We've never been there with him (I used to take my daughter when she was a toddler). So, since hubby got home a little early today, we are going to head up there in a bit so my son can get there before he's too old (as he says!)You know you're an addict when you put Crackbook on your Crackberry. -Toaderly

Leftover baked ziti from the weekend for the hubbie. Too bad I'm going low carb...
... I'll be eating a crustless artichoke quiche.

Yeah, it would be better tomorrow, if I had cooked it. But I never did!

Chuck E. Cheese must make all their money on the food. What a gyp.
We had 3 personal pizzas, 1 salad bar, 1 ham and cheese sandwich and 5 sodas. It came to 42 friggin dollars. Then we had to buy tokens. Well, we got 12 free with the food. But the tokens weren't as big a rip-off...everything only cost 1 token, so they lasted awhile.
At least the salad bar was all you can eat. It was pretty tasty too.You know you're an addict when you put Crackbook on your Crackberry. -Toaderly
