Ally, the peanut cole slaw is basically regular cole slaw, kicked up a notch (chili powder and cumin), and with a handful of regular or dry roasted peanuts. Leaving out those spices and adding pineapple and macadmias would make it a Hawaiian theme!

I think it's chicken on the grill tonight, but that depends on everyone's schedule. Hub is probably going to be home at a decent hour but he's supposed to have his friend here helping him fuss with one of his trucks that's not running.

Sounds good. My brother-in-law's mother makes coleslaw with pineapple, but I never heard of anyone else doing so. Who knew?

Some eggs, turkey bacon and home fries (some made, some bought). After a haircut, I'll broil some chicken legs w/rice and veggies.

Crabcake Sliders, steak fries, garden spinach salad, sliced pears/bananas.

I will dine while watching the game. Hopefully, tonight's meal will settle better than last's.

If the Yanks regurgitate last night's game, I won't bother eating. They've been killing my appetite lately.

Yup. Try to at least three times a week. After putting up with me at a teenager, she deserves it.

Just make sure you look at the Lawry's seasoning label (moslty MSG). Gives me a headache.

    Think we'll go with

BBQ Tri-Tip which has been marinating in Soy Vey sauce all week in the fridge.
    Waldorf Salad
    Fresh asparagus spears
    Pistachio pudding
    Tall glass of ice-cold milk

I have a leftover pinwheel flank steak in the freezer I'll defrost and broil. That and some red camargue rice ought to do the trick.

Yes. The stash I have specifically does not have the MSG, fortunately. Not only do I get the headache from it, but a couple hours later, I start sneezing fits.

Perhaps they have changed their formula in recent years. I have not bought any in some time due to the MSG. If so, good news!
