Streetside vender, but a well known eatery in Taipei. A 10 minute wait in the line is a must.

Tonight is turkey burgers. I didn't go food shopping this past weekend, so thankfully I have one of those big boxes of frozen turkey burgers on hand and whenever I'm short a meal, we just have those. We'll have suddenly salad on the side, and a veggie tbd and that will be that.

Im planning on tilapia for dinner tonight, but not sure how I am going to prepare it. Anyone have any good ideas?
Sides will be faux mashed taters (cauliflower) and another veggie to be determined.

Chipotle is having a special today in Colorado. Bring in a can of food to donate to the local food bank, and they'll provide a burrito, free. Can't beat that deal.

Sorry this is probably late Dawn, but I make it two ways...either on the counter top grill, just drizzled with olive oil and seasoned with whatever you like (salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder) or I bake it over a bed of thawed frozen spinach with some chicken broth in the pan and chopped onions, tomatoes and garlic.

Did you end up making it?

I was making a big pot of Chicken Soup for tomorrow so I was too busy with that to fuss so tonight we had: Chicken Sausages, Zucchini and Eggs with Roasted Peppers on the side.

Went to a steak place for the bowling dinner. I shoulda had the prime rib, but I chose the chicken piccata. I love capers and lemon sauce, so I ordered that. It was good. Had a big baked potato on the side, but no other veggie. I thought that was odd.

That's rice with a lot of vegetables with minced beef on top. Oh and a big spoon full of chili sauce.

Usually all the entree choices (when we go to these dinners) have a veggie on the side. Something like sauteed zucchini, carrots and beans or brocolli. The fish entree didn't have any either.

No worries, I winged it.
I baked it .. get this ... over a bed of spinach , with some chopped garlic, red peppers, baby portabello mushrooms and olive oil and white wine. It was really good.
I haven't tried grilling it b/c it seems so delicate. Does it fall apart?

I haven' tried grilling it on the regular grill. It would probably be best to wrap it in foil, but on the countertop grill (like a Foreman), it comes out nice. You just have to be careful when you pick it up because it will fall apart. It's so quick too...only takes a couple of minutes.

Mashed cauliflower sounds good. I like it but never tried to mash it.

I put on a pot of sauce this afternoon but no one ate home, so I put it in the fridge and tomorrow I'll cook up some Italian sausages to add to it.
