Re: What's on the menu this evening?
I bought the panko breadcrumbs for a recipe once. Interesting texture.

No! That sound interesting, particularly if you are cooking for a gluten-free eater.

I never heard of the Naked Fish. What you had sounds really good. Based on the name, I am assuming it's a seafood place?

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
Dumb question. Grilled asparagus. Do you just brush them in olive oil and salt and put them on the grill? I don't usually use the grill.....with veggies I usually do them on the stove.

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
You can certainly do it that way but I like it grilled with a basalmic vinegarette salad dressing.

I sauteed asparagus with olive oil and garlic once instead of boiling them. I liked them so much more that way. Never tried to grill them though.

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
I've never grilled it; I usually put them on a sheet pan in the oven - drizzle the oil and season with whatever - bake at ~425ºF for ~20 minutes.

Going out to dinner tonight for my BFs birthday. We are going to Piccolo Paradiso in Beverly Hills. I will report back how it is.

Not really swanky, just a small place with very good food. It is a definite "foody" favorite though because it is one of the Drago famly restaurants, pretty well known around here for their Italian food.

We will be having leftovers of whatever we can find in the fridge and then it's off to a sports bar to watch the game.
