Re: What's on the menu this evening?
just put a little bit on the pizza. or, dipping it is cool too, as long as the toppings don't slide off. Just give it a shot

I don't know what I'm making tonight. Probably not cooking because I have to take my daughter ti the dentist later, so we'll probably stop at Wendy's.

LOL, Well, the kids like it and there's one on our way home from the dentist/ortho, so when we go there, we usually stop at Wendy's.

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
We had homemade meatballs in BBQ sauce, which I had big doubts about, but which my daughter requested. And of course she then wouldn't eat. They were fine, but I dunno. The BBQ sauce just seemed wrong. What else can you dunk meatballs in besides tomato sauce?

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
I had a good recipe for sweet and sour meatballs. They were delicious. Off the top of my head, the recipe had cranberry sauce and orange juice, bu I can't remember what else. I can try and find the recipe.

You and your applesauce!

Basically you just peel and cut up the apples, then put them in a pan with a little water and add sugar, cinammon, and a little nutmeg. When the apples start to soften up you can mash them with a potato masher or blend it in the blender if you like it smooth.

Swedish Meatballs are made with a sour cream sauce I believe...... but beware, relying on my knowledge of cooking is taking your life in your hands.

We settled on Burger King. Only because I could use a two-for-one coupon I had that hadn't yet expired.

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
It is wrong! Meatballs should only be in tomato sauce.

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
I bought a cool cookbook at the book fair. It's really got simple recipes in it, but the pictures got me.
Tonight I am making dinner from it:
Cola Roast. It sounds good. You use a can of cola, some chili sauce and worstcestershire sauce. I can't wait to try it.
Then some individual apple pies for dessert. You know you're an addict when you put Crackbook on your Crackberry. -Toaderly

Thanks but no thanks. Way too much bad cholesterol to digest on a given day.

Re: What's on the menu this evening?
This might sound crazy but: a mixture of Heinz Chili Sauce and grape jelly. It's really a crock pot recipe (that was given to me at a shower) - one I thought I'd never try and like, but I did and they weren't bad.
