Re: RIP Wilson Pickett
I remember when Miles Davis died in 1991, he'd previously requested permission to be buried in a plot near Anthony Kennedy "Duke" Ellington. Someone had commented that the worms in that plot must be jumping for joy hearing all of that great music.
Between Wilson Picket and Lou Rawls, I'd say that the worms are doing just that.

Re: RIP Wilson Pickett
Awww dammmn. Another 60's R&B talent gone. I'm feeling really 'old' right now.
I remember seeing Wilson 'live' at various clubs/venues in Detroit in the mid-late 60's/early 70's. Good times..
If you're not familiar with his songs...check some of them out here.

Re: RIP Wilson Pickett
Damn that sucks....
I remember when he played at Irving Plaza, but I had Playoff tickets that night and didn't go.

RIP
More great musicians die every year
I only have a couple Wilson Pickett songs on my computer, but I love his voice. His cover of Hey Jude with Duane Allman is awesome. I should get more of his stuff.
