Tino in Esquire
Not sure if anyone besides me cares about this, but Tino is featured in the February 2006 issue of Esquire, modeling in the Jhane Barnes Ad. There are four pages, with three pictures of him.

On a related note, Curt Schilling will be featured in this months Food Illustrated pictoral, 1 photo on 3 pages.

Re: Tino in Esquire
How would they do one picture on three pages? I've seen one photo extended onto two pages because they are right next to eachother. But, with three pages, the viewer would have to flip back and forth to see the full picture.

The joke was that one cannot fit such an enormous person on a standard magazine page.

Re: Tino in Esquire
Oh Tino, that shirt is so not you. It's me... maybe circa 1990.

I actually like that shirt, the green lines look like some sort of trig function.

I don't think Tino will be away for too long. I could see him joining the coaching staff if someone else (Bowa, Pena, Mazzilli) gets a managerial job elsewhere.

Well, technically, the page can flip out, like in those annoyingly large SI ads.

Didn't think of that, probably because I can't stand those things.

So retired Yankees don't count? Because I assume he is retiring since I haven't heard about him signing with anyone else ... and I don't think he would anyway, at this point in his life.

Tino is hot. He isn't technically a baseball player anymore right?

You better be careful. You may get scolded. Then again, maybe not.
