    Best ... Roadsign ... Ever

This is hands-down the best roadsign ever.

How come none of the roads in Stephen King novels had this sign?

Wow, haha. Good thing I stopped picking up hitchikers, well atleast the male ones.

That's what my parents always told me!

Love the bullet holes, BTW. When I took a roadtrip out west, thats truly is commonplace.

That sign is damned funny, the bullet holes really take the cake though.

That's hysterical. Here's some links to some more that made me laugh. There are a lot of good ones on the site but I just picked a few.

My did lives close to a state prison in Illinois. The roads are littered with "STATE PRISON NEARBY - DO NOT PICK UP HITCHIKERS". Kinda creepy.
The things you see, the way you see them, will never be seen again.

My favorite highway roadsign was in the Natl Enquirer or something:

    DO NOT READ THIS SIGN

    At least it was original.
Dr King (1929-68): Make the Dream a Reality.
RIP, Nelson Mandela, Jackie #42 & Rosa Parks; Ali: Get up…get up; Isaac Hayes; Stevie Wonder: Isn't She Lovely?; Dr J: Fear the 'Fro; Smokin' Joe

Hah! I wonder who shot at the sign, the inmates or the hitchers!

This reminds me of the signs that were posted on Alligator Alley/State Road 84 from Ft Lauderdale to Naples before I-75 was built.

"Warning: $500 Fine For Shooting A Firearm Within 100 Yards Of This Highway" (loose translation...but you get the idea)

Of course, every sign was riddled with bullet holes..
