American Idol Thread
No American Idol thread yet? I don't even watch the show but I caught the end of it tonight.
I can't believe they let that guy who thinks he talks to animals go through to the next round."Long Island is New Jersey with a GED." - Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.

The 17 year old Sinatra wannabe was cute.

That girl singing Lady Marmalade needs to go far, far away. I thought someone was torturing a cat.

Re: American Idol Thread
He was definitely one of the better ones tonight. Plus, he's pretty easy on the eyes. The girls will definitely like him.

I will shout "yippee" the day FOX goes out of business.

Fox News is the best, though.

That overly fake tanned, air head bimbo was just.....I don't even know how to explain it. But it all made sense when her mother walked in the room. All made sense.

You know something fishy is going on when Randy and Paula give the thumbs up to that wacky guy at the end. What was that all about?

Re: American Idol Thread
Well if you don't count Idol which gets huge ratings. And FOX gets better ratings then NBC.

Yeah true but that is not the norm. The Olympics are only for two or so weeks anyway.

Re: American Idol Thread
24 just started getting good ratings. There was a talk for a while it could get cancelled. Prison Break, The OC, Simpsons etc. still get decent ratings

NBC was in fourth all winter without both 24 and American Idol on the air. They are screwed now, especially with the Sopranos coming back on HBO in March

Is what this show makes me feel like doing. I've never watched one episode and think it's the worst idea and the worst thing to happen to music in the past decade.

Re: American Idol Thread
I'm not going to watch until they have the finalists in Hollywood in Febuary... and maybe not even then. Sometimes it's really disheartening watching this show in terms of what it says about the state of music.

I really dislike this show.
Also, Simpsons and Family Guy bring in ratings for Fox....
