Re: Week 21 thread
Great timing Patrick!
Week 21 Quick Stats
Only a few weeks left in the regular season and still lots to be decided.
If the playoffs began today the division winners would be....
Michigan Wolverines - Dimaggio Division (16-4)
The Marauders - Gehrig Division (13-7)
Naked Truth - Ruth Division (12-8) Holds tiebreaker over Sluggers
The Lumberjacks / Holdouts - Mantle Division (12-8)
*For the puposes of the rest of this column I will assume that the Lumberjacks are in top spot in their division as head to head the teams are 1-1 but the Jacks have a better divisional record. Someone please correct me but I haven't found the tiebreaker thread yet.

You read my mind. I am sure everyone is very interesting in our drafting position for next year.

Nice to see the battle for the 14th draft pick is in full force, as all four of last week's entrants on the list lost their games! This week's newcomers are all 9-11 teams who share a common curse - being crushed by the weight of the evil Points Against Monster. All 3 teams have been facing an average of over 275 points a week, and the Kill had it especially tough, being the 5th highest scoring team and yet joining the others a bit too early in the Loser's Lounge. The Kill and Squeaks can both catch their division leaders, but alas, they would fall to tiebreakers, while the Horsemen are just plain cooked. Welcome to the list, fellas!
On a side note, there are two 10-10 teams I'm calling it a season on. The Lous can actually win both their division and the Wild Card since they are 3 back in both races and own the tiebreakers, but they have a better chance of winning Powerball than of having every single thing break right. And speaking of breaking right, while the Bombers can't win the Wild Card due to a loss to the Ligers, they can still win the division if all three teams in front of them roll over and die. Hear that, Rich? All three teams? Time to adjust the ole signature again, no?

This is by far my favourite column every year - especially since I never show up on it. Thanks Patrick.

Just in case anyone wasn't paying attention - the Naughties are still winning their game vs. THE Ligers - I think Randi forgot to post that here this morning.

Hey Clive,
I'll trade you the left over clippings from my next haircut for Sammy Sosa?
I know it may have a hard time getting approved but I think we can work something out.
