    RIP, Ruthie Pesky

Yes, it's Sox-related, but I assume many people here would be interested.

They were married 60 years, having met in '44, when both were at the Atlanta Naval Air Station.

RIP, and best wishes to Johnny.

Best wishes to Johnny Pesky, who spent most of his life in the Red Sox organization, to win a WS Ring.

    My condolences.
It's not the 27 World Championships that drive the New York Yankees. It's the 28th.
Every year is The Year. Go Yankees.

So sad , I always wonder how someone can get past something like this. That many years with one person always at your side then one day they are gone and you are left alone.....

Yeah... hopefully his involvement with the team will help -- especially given the frequency of the games...

Ive never heard a bad word spoken about the man.Even as a Yankee fan, when there was all that business about him being banned from the dugout last year, I was almost offended.

    I feel awful for him.
