Deion Sanders has singled and hit a 3 run HR in his first two AB in his first game back.I personally don't like the guy,but he is an amazing athlete.

He will fizle. He always does.
He is apparently a "minister" now. probably in the same church that Carl EverRat atends.

A minister? Lol!
I did like his 2001 debut, though. Congrats, Deion!

I just hope this means that his career as a Redskin is over. He's a selfish *******. He has never been a team player and never will be.
Here's his reply when he was asked about the state of his NFL career.......
"It's been a good run........There's not too much more I can do besides complete a team-oriented goal."
Hey there's an idea Deion, have a team-oriented goal.
"I don't feel obligations to nobody but my baseball team. That's just like asking [the Redskins] if they feel any obligations to me. Pose that question to them."
How about the $8 million signing bonus? Is that considered an obligation?
Snyder left himself open to this, he has only himself to blame. Even though it's going to cost the 'Skins a cap hit it's worth it if he's played his last game.
Hey Deion.. :finger2:
O.K. I feel better now.

Dion is a player that has never really cost me any grief......Hope it stays that way.
The broadcasters love him from what I remember during football season......

He's one of only two players that ever wore Yankee pinstripes that I HATED while he was on the team.

I bet you could have guessed it.
Rickey Henderson. All I wanted was for him to let one of those stupid snap catches go rattling around the outfield for a 4 base error

Does anyone remember when Deion was with the Yankees and Carlton Fisk got on him from the catchers box because he didn't run out a ground ball?
Carlton Fisk,old school.

I remember, before Deion got in the batters box he drew a dollar sign in the dirt in front of Fisk.
Just recently some one (ESPN I think) did some show on the punk

Add me to the list of those who can't stand Prime Time. Obviously, he's a helluva athlete but as far as multi-sports stars, he couldn't carry Bo's jock.
Sanders is a genius at self marketing. I used to really get tired of announcers tripping over themselves gushing about him. He WAS one of the best covermen in the NFL but he tackled like a placekicker.
Ditto what Chris said too.

05-04-01 08:48 PM #16EXACTLY, CJM. Deion said once that he was a better multi-sport athlete than Bo. As a matter of fact, this was being discussed on ESPN radio Wednesday (?). Kornheiser & crew were having a good laugh about it.Originally posted by CJM
