Wild Card

I just want peoples reactions as to how they feel the wild card and the playoffs should happen. I liked it better when the team in first in both American and National Leagues fought it and the winner headed to the World Series. I can see the wild cardhelping team like the Mutts, but is it really necessary???

I liked it the old way, too, but the fans (in general) seem to prefer it this way. It's all about the Benjamins, so I don't see it changing because traditionalists like us don't like it.

Baseball understands that we traditional fans will stay through thick and thin. They can safely move to appeal to the fringe fans. Even though we'll get annoyed, and decry the loss of tradition, we'll stay.

Just the way it's going to be. We don't have to like it, but we might as well accept it.
