This is so sad...

Tragic and, not surprisingly, it has been all over the news down here. The Nicklaus' do a lot of great things here in Palm Beach County.

This is also Jack's last go-round at the Open Championship. The R and A actually changed the venue so that he could go out at St. Andrews.
I would not be surprised to see the Masters extend a special invitation to Jack for next year's event. He has always said that he did not want a big deal made of his departure, but the fans deserve an opportunity to say farewell to the greatest golfer of his generation.

I sure hope so. It's kind of sad that past champions like Gay Brewer and Billy Caspar can no longer play but noone is linked to that tournament like Jack Nicklaus. He should be able to play there as long as he wants.

It's very sad. He's such a great man, and he's given so much in his life.
There's a force in the universe that makes things happen. And all you have to do is get in touch with it, stop thinking, let things happen, and be the ball.
