Yeah, he did seem like a nice guy, always seemed so friendly, he should probably be an everyday player out there. Good Luck!

Good luck to TC. He had his moments as a Yankee, and was always a class act.

As the blowhards on PTI say:
What was your favorite moment of the Tony Clark era?
Mine has to be the first Tony Clark moment, the 492 foot home run with those tiny balls in Japan.

Tony's cool. Even after he went Soriano with the strikeouts and sent a double about a foot to high in the ALCS.

Re: Tony Clark signs with D-Backs
I'd recommended Tony Clark to a few Mets fans I knew. We were discussing guys who'd play and they had Travis Lee and Olerud in consideration, in case Delgado didn't work out. Someone said Tony was garbage.

Re: Tony Clark signs with D-Backs
I've never heard any player, coach, or team executive speak in anything less than glowing terms about Tony's attitude and character.
I wish him well, and would love to see the Yankees hire him in some capacity, after his playing days are over. He brought alot of class to the organization.~John

Just remember it the ball didn't bounce into the stands, he would've been a hero.

I wish he wouldve been able to stay with us. Tino and Tony would have made a great 1st base combo
