    A completely incomprehensible nickname. I've found a source or two that say it was because of his high forehead, but that makes no sense either. Pictures of him don't make his forehead look all that preternaturally high...and besides, how does a high forehead make someone look like a Human Eyeball?

    Just weird. His nickname should obviously been "The Mohel."

    I never had heard of it either but I did meet him when he was a Yankee coach and he was really a nice guy.
