Let's face it, if this really happened, the press conference would be in the next couple of days since there is no way in hell Sexson will get anything close to that from any other team.

I don't think that this rumor is on target. Regardless, if the Mets can sign Sexson for a reasonable price along with Pedro and Benson, they will have had a really good off season.

You're wrong if you think Sexson wont get similar offers from other teams.

Shoulder injuries are also less likely to reoccur than most major injuries, if he's healthy than it's suddenly a great move. Let's not forget how good of a hitter he can be, he also plays excellent Defense at 1B.
