http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6288551/
SEATTLE - Mike Hargrove was hired Wednesday to manage the Seattle Mariners and turn around the team after its worst season in 12 years.
Hargrove, previously the manager of the Baltimore Orioles and Cleveland Indians, agreed to a three-year deal through 2007.
He has a tremendous resume and is battle-tested in every facet of leading a major league club, Mariners general manager Bill Bavasi said.
Hargrove replaces Bob Melvin, who was fired a day after Seattle ended the season with its 99th loss, the second-most in the American League.

Hargrove was a genius in Cleveland -- when he had Lofton, Ramirez, Thome etc. in the lineup.

Just be thankful he's not a player anymore. The human rain delay.
Let the kids play.
