So, to honor the military, the San Diego Padres wore camoflauge jerseys yesterday. My God, how stupid!! They were f-ugly!

I'm all for acknowledging the achievements and sacrifices of our men and women in uniform, but not at the expense of defacing the simple elegance of a baseball uniform.

This B.S. of alternate uniforms, "throw-back" uniforms, futuristic uniforms must stop. This is one of the reasons I'm so passionate about the Yankees. They've kept the same simple uniform for 80 years with none of this marketing department driven gimmickey nonsense!

I'm with you on this one Yankees Empire, the new Padres unis are ugly. I served my country honorably in the US Navy, but I'll be d@mned if I want to see dress blues being worn on the ballfield!

I guess they did it since the Navy and the USMC are big in that area ,although the cammys where a bit too much. They kind of looked like a softball team or hunters who had their rifles taken awayor something.
