We work 8:30 - 5 Monday thru Thursday & 9 - 3 on Friday's all year.

I knew there was one benefit of this job. It just takes all damn week to get to it.

Actually, I was thinking about Taco Bell. Weird. The only one around here sucks though. Last time I was there they were out of sour cream, nachos, lids, and straws!

I've had a rough week -- my mom had heart surgery and it wasn't planned...luckily she's doing great but I'm physically dead on my feet...I just want to go home and I hope the roads are clear come 5, so I can cruise home. Traffic was lighter from the Jewish holiday this morning, so i"m hoping for more of the same tonight.

Yes, this week did go by rather quickly.

It was a very tough week for me. My mother passed away on Sunday Sept 19th, and this was my first week back to work.

I am also going down to the Jersey shore for the weekend, a trip I had planned before my mom's death. I had vaccillated about going away, but my mother's voice in the back of my head said " Go !! And have a good time, damn it ! ".

Here's to you, Mom.
I'll look for you in the sunrise on the beach, and think of you.

Sue, I'm sorry to hear about your mother . I think it's a great idea to go down to the shore -- it's always important to continue on with life in the midst of something like this. Your mother would want you to go... and I want you to play some skeeball for me .

And always remember, that it's the nighttime that makes you appreciate the beautiful days even more.
