I heard he was 31, not 30.
Either way, I voted for the 31-34 range, because I think that he's really 33 or 34 -- a few years older than what he claims.

I say he's 31 - just like he says he is.
I really don't think this guy would be able to fool everyone. I mean....how many people have been found out over the last year or so? Why would he be able to disguise his age any better than all of those dozen and dozens of other guys?

I had the closed caption on Sportscenter when they did the Contrears story and when they said "31 year old Jose Contreras" it came up on the screen as "36781 year old Jose Contreras." It made me laugh.

I find it funny that someone actually voted for the choice "46-59 - Senor Social Securidad!"
At least vote for 60+ like I did, because it's rediculous. 46-59 is the "filler" of the choices - sort of the Spam mystery ingredient. You don't actually vote for the filler choice. Stick with extremely humorous or actually serious choices. You're throwing off whole statistical accuracy of the poll.

I'm not a big fan of these Cuban age conspiracy theories. If he can live up to the hype, and pitch well, I really don't care one way or another. For the purposes of the thread, I voted he is the age he claims to be.

I know some players shave a few years off, but I can safely say that I don't think he shaved off over 30,000 years. Bad SportsCenter.
