When was the last time that the Yankees won a game by forfeit?

I'm with Jim Roche, I know the Senators forfeited their last home game in DC to the Yankees.

You got it JR!
On September 30, 1971, the Senators (managed by Ted Williams) played their last game, in Washington's RFK Stadium. With two outs in the ninth inning and leading the Yankees, 7-5, fans swarmed the field and play was unable to be resumed. Thus, the Senators forfeited the game 9-0 to New York. A fitting end to a frustrating period in Washington baseball history. The following year the team became the Texas Rangers.

I'm curious, how does a 7-5 game get forfeited to 9-0, presuming this is the same game?
