I wonder if the play will get sued for using Bronx Bombers.
    Pardon, for us.

Nice, I wonder if the TKTS booth in times sq will have tickets at a discount for it? They have a play express line to skip the huge Broadway line....

Not to be a negative nelly, but this is going to suck. Plays like this don't do well. Take a look at Magic & Bird and Lombardi. I'm sure there will be plenty of discounts at TKTS, TDF, BroadwayBox, Theater Mania, and every other site.

I agree. Its not even one time period. It will certainly be on TDF.

    Opening night

the reviews are in .... https://www.google.com/search?q=Bron...ficial&tbm=nws

"starts out full of promise, but in the end gives up footing, much like the 2013 version of the team it’s trying to understand."

Joe Pantoliano is not in the play, he left due to “creative differences”

The average person will not sit through a sports play. Heck, Lombardi had a perfect storm: Packers won the Super Bowl when it opened, it got mentioned in every game during that run, had word of mouth among sports fans, and still closed early and lost money

The Theater Development Fund has pretty much every day available for $39 per seat. I can't see this lasting long.

I can see the upcoming Rocky show lasting even less.

speaking of Yankee tie-ins that dont go anywhere, what ever happened to that cartoon Yankee movie they would plug at every game on the big scoreboard during warmups? something to do with a kid meeting up with Yankee legends and even a cartoon version of Hal S.

My wife and I had tickets to see the "Book of Morman" in August but couldn't go then so two of my kids went and they absolutely loved it.

Instead I spent the time in the hospital having open heart surgery. I had a by pass on one of my cardiac arteries and had my aortic valve replaced. I am fully recovered not and have lost 30 pounds and kept it off. I am now trying to lose another ten pounds. There are tremendous health benefits to the lost weight.

    Thanks

I am more than OK. I feel like I have been granted a new life, and since lost a very dear friend in December to health problems, I have renewed my quest to live every day as if it were my last. I also have decided not to put off till tomorrow what I can do today. Work is an exception. There is always tomorrow to work if you don't have enough time today.

    Andy,

I don't know how I missed this. Sorry to hear of your health problems but I am GLAD to hear you are getting your health back. We have to continue to show these young Yankee fans on this board that we still have something to contribute.
    Best of everything
