The Rivalry should be really good since it will have a large share of both teams.
Novelty = $$$ But sadly, from a game viewing experience, it won't be as good as MSG, Barclays, etc.

Thats the way I feel. If I am paying that much money, I want good seats with a real good view of the action. This wont happen watching a hockey game at a stadium. The novelty wears off really quick when you can barely see anything, and you're toes/feet, hands, nose etc. are frozen. I'd much rather pay $150-$200 for good seats at MSG.

These prices are more affordable for some, so I'm sure its not as big of a deal to them. I cant afford to drop that money on a game too often. When I do I want my seats to be high quality.

No seat in YS will be that good of a view than my regular season tickets at MSG. So totally agree with you. Which is why I'll likely go for one of the lower amounts just to be there for the experience.

Not that it means much this far out, but there are tickets listed on Stubhub for the Islanders vs Rangers already. And the prices are well.....ridiculous. They can only go down I imagine.

What you see depends on where your season tickets are at the garden. People who pay different prices at MSG can only buy a specific locations at Yankee Stadium.

    No problem!

The only ones available were the Dark Green Sections $279.00 , Yellow Sections $299.00, and Blue Sections $229.00 for me.

    Re: Hockey Officially Announced

I just got my tickets and was shocked at how easy it was. I threw back 4-5 options before purchasing in a low row of 422. At one point, the website hung, but I logged out and logged back in again and managed to get the same seats.

If anyone has a problem, log out, log in again and you won't get the message that you have exceeded your limit.

    Good luck

I would have to disagree. I know a lot of people with season tickets, and most of them have different windows to purchase tickets. I think MSG / ticketmaster or whoever made it so the system just doesn't get overloaded.

As far as me pulling the same seats a few minutes later, they just may have been stuck in my cart. There is a timer for how long they will hold the inventory.

Yeah I have to disagree too, there's a guaranteed allocation of inventory for Rangers STHs and they only started buying yesterday morning. So I would be surprised if it weren't an easy process to land seats since we're guaranteed to get something

For the people that are listing on Stubhub, what are you putting down as your in hand date?

These are regular season NHL tickets, and NHL STHs need to have their tickets lined up already. For Yankees STHs, they're undoubtedly going to tie this to renewal so expect to hear more about it as the renewal process gets under way. Should be soon. I'm predicting about 10,000 tickets available per game to Yankees ticket holders

I do believe that the youth group seats are the crappiest seats and not available for sale to anyone else.

These would be the Orange locations on the map:

That's how they did it for the Winter Classic in Philadelphia
