Team Hero: May 13, 2013 at Indians (Gm 2)

TH: Nuno (1st ever Major League start, pitched 5 scoreless innings)
    HM: Romine, Joseph, Overbay

The real reason why the Yankees keep winning is cause the other team can't stop staring at the damn pinstripes

Warren deserves as much credit an Nuno in this game - combined, they threw a five hit shutout.
Forgive me for taking the Contrarian view

So these three young pitchers, Nuno, Warren, and Phelps, hold the Indians to one run over two games after they averaged about 6 and half runs a game over the past dozen.

Pretty neat for fans who like to root for young pitching.

I was actually home and got to watch both games. Nuno was everything he was billed to be; a strike throwing machine. While he deserves to stay up with the Yankees, he's better off going back down to Scanton-Wilkes-Barre so he can pitch every 5th day. I'd love to see him come up next year as one of the starting 5, or this year if there is a need for another starter.
