Just a thought, for a month till Grandy & Tex get back put Heathcott in CF & Mostiellier at 3b. Why must they always have to go with washed up vets. We been hearing about Heathcott for a while give him a taste lets see what hes got.

Heathcott was spectacular in the AFL, but he's never played above high A. I don't think anyone believes he's ready for a major-league job yet.

This may be the year the wheels come off the wagon so to speak, but I am looking forward to it as much as any other. One of the reasons, I will get to hear "Enter Sandman" to start the 9th inning for the last time, after this year, we won't. I'm going to enjoy seeing the greatest closer in the history of the game one more time.

I'm not even sure why, but I have a feeling this team is going to have one of those flukey good seasons, where the all the run differentials and [more] advanced stats say they should be mediocre or flat out stink, but they still pull 90+ wins out of their ass.

people will call them scrappy and gritty even.

Even a healthy ARod and Tex wouldn't have done much to get my hopes up for this season as both are well on the decline. I'm glad the season starts soon, but this offense ain't gonna be fun to watch.
