Re: 2013 New York Yankees Season Long Discussion Thread
Logan pitched hurt last night. In fact, he's been pitching with a sore elbow all season according to him. But last night after three pitches thrown, he said something tweeted. This is all according to him, per LoHud.
Robertson is also not available for 4-7 days with tendinitis.
Rays lost, but now O's and Indians are ahead of us again. We need to find a way to win the next two games.

Re: 2013 New York Yankees Season Long Discussion Thread
Trenton's season is over (yes, they made the playoffs), so do the Yankees consider bringing Nik Turley up to the majors to get another arm in the pen?
Right now, I think his arm is the only one that is healthy that is still on the 40-man roster. Nuno, Pineda, Banuelos & Ramirez are all injured, I believe.Forgive me for taking the Contrarian view

Much better to get these games out of the way in the regular season. Makes it easier to get #28 once the playoffs begin.
A bad blip, but the postseason is still in sight.Equally as calm as ClownPickle ~(+/- 1)

The Red Sox went from 69-93 to quite possibly the best team in baseball and maybe even champs
A lot of work to be done this offseason, like Boston from at the end of last year

Re: 2013 New York Yankees Season Long Discussion Thread
Let's not overreact and give Boston the title and the Yanks out of the playoffs. Yes these three games royally sucked but the worst we will be after today is 3 1/2 games out. Bit I do not want to see Huff pitch again and we need a catcher that isn't an automatic out.

Re: 2013 New York Yankees Season Long Discussion Thread
The most frustrating thing about all of this is knowing the Red Sox of all teams prevented us from making the playoffs in our own building, and two of the worst losses I've ever seen this team have in the regular season occured.
You can afford a Huff meltdown if Rivera picks up the final out for the save and a day later you hold an 8-3 lead and 9 outs away
Feel bad for Rivera/Pettitte and knowing these may be the final games of watching Cano as a Yankee.
It's tough to trust Cashman going forward. Basbeall gods have to be kinder in 2014

A bit premature with the eulogies. Obviously we need to play better but the good news is Tampa is struggling and have one heck of a tough remaining schedule. Win tomorrow to stop the bleeding and go to Baltimore and take care of business there.

Re: 2013 New York Yankees Season Long Discussion Thread
This is the first time since 1916 that Boston scored at least 9 runs in three consecutive games of one series at the Yankees.
