All the avatars of Vishnu are a special category and are admitted to the Sports Bar, should they so desire. Matsya, being a fish, might present a problem unless caught fresh. We would have to put Buddha to a vote, unless he has ID and dresses appropriately. Thanks for helping clarify these issues.

Bautista had torn sheath, so worse. Tex less severe, but your point is valid, This could easily nag him going forward, and could get reaggravated on any swing, practice, BP, live game....need to keep fingers crossed here. The problem if he re-injures, is that would most likely mean tear/surgery.

Wrists are a nightmare. I expect Tex back in 12-14, vs 8-10 weeks, the Yanks will be EXTRA cautious, I expect.

That scenario is scary in itself because to me this is the kind of injury that can really wreck his season offensively.

Some of these nagging injuries, that some players are frequently afflicted, take forever to heal. Just ask Jason Giambi.

I really hope you are right, but wrists can be very problematic. I am completely speculating. That said, the prognosis is 8-10 weeks, and the old "It stills feels sore swinging off a tee delay" happens a lot.

Either way, it is not insane. You are looking at Tex resting 4-6 weeks, then 4 weeks of stretching/strenthening (rehab). Right there is your 8-10, and it assumes zero setbacks. I would err on the side of caution if I were the Yanks, because next step would be surgery and come back next year.

It is very coincidental, I'll say, how many tendon injuries are popping up the past few years.
