    Cool - thanks.

I was at the game on Friday in DC. The Nats had a tribute to him on the Jumbotron and presented him with a jersey. It was a little on the chilly side, but I still got goosebumps seeing him run in from the pen at the start of the 9th. There were a lot of Yankee fans there who stood and cheered, along with some Nats'fans. I've said in the past that Nats fans really appreciate the game and one guy sitting in back of us asked, "I wonder if there will be anyone dumb enough not to vote for him the first year he's eligible for the Hall."

Saying he was anxious. Who could blame him.

Save # 609 tonight -- hey for you Lottery players , wasn't it #69 for Mo & Andy tonight?
He'll never get another milestone like that one. So what? His whole career is a milestone. - JL25and3

I felt he was squeezed on the outside corner twice. So he just adjusted and does it yet again for 609.

Little Dusty was SO. That's the RS against the Mo Monster.

I think I saw a crawl on ESPN that said it was the most saves for any closer/starter combo in history. In more breaking news, the sun rises in the east.

The game was on TBS yesterday and another great stat on MO was mentioned. Since he turned 35, Mo has had 253 saves. That's almost an entire career these days.

31 closers have at least 253 saves. Rivera, Nathan, and Papelbon are the only active ones.

He (also?) met with John Adams, the guy with the drum. They showed it on YES while the rainout was still a rain delay:

I got Mo's autograph the first year A-Rod came to the team at City of Palms Park located in Dunk City, FL. Spring Training action.

    He's stunning in person.
A smile never left his face as he was signing as many as time would allow.
    Never forget.
On the same ball I got A-Rod and Jeter.
    No lie.
