We are playing the Red Sox and Youk takes one up and in.

Does Joba retaliate and stand up for his new teammate?

Since noone answered I will.

Doubtful since Joba primarily pitches in later innings. IF he were a starter I dont think he would have any problem doing it.

The bad blood between Joba and Youkilis is buried or at least should be. They are on the same side and working towards the same goal. That should be all that matters.

In my opinion I like the fact that the Yanks picked up Kevin, he seems to be a big game player. Lets face it, our Yankees play a ton of big games.. We're still the team to beat, and Youkilis only adds to it.

Yeah... Youk figures to be an upgrade over arod, even though I think the money could have been better spent on russel martin.

Forget Russel. I bet a combo of Cervelli, Stewart, Romine would net us equal production than what a full year of Martin would have done. And that's including defense.

Besides, Arod is done. Possibly done in NY all together. Would you have really wanted to see Nunez lace balls into the stands every game at third?

Maybe he thinks if he gets everyone to boo him, the rest of the world will think he's getting the the "Youuuuuuuk!" cheer. I never thought he was terribly bright.
